As I understood from the video, media can do whatever they want. Now we live in the society where people can comment and write in the internet whatever they want. Media often make simple stories, big stories. As we could see the story was made a big story, and everyone got involved. People because of media started to divide. People when they hear the news they start judging people. The media is the source for us to find out about what is happening in the world, but often media are looking for sensation. Sometimes journalists have just piece of information, but they make it a big deal. Sometimes journalists make some case a big case, and people involved in this event are hurt. Media now has no emotion. The news has to become popular, no matter if it hurts someone, feeling are on the second place. As the video showed journalists found a big event, made it even bigger and people started to judge right away. Now people are different, they think about their own feelings, not feelings of other people.
This video is an advertisement in an advertisement, the creator of this video is trying to capture the attention of the viewer by using strange, sometimes shocking symbols that are familiar to every one. This video departures your attention, do you want to know what it is going to end with, therefore you eventually have to see who is it done by. The best way people presses information is if it is presented in a funny or an ironic way, if the viewer finds it funny or even strange he might want to share it with his friends. So them the video it self become a hidden advertisement, because people don't think of it as been one anymore. That's why it is very important for the media to capture audiences attention and make them want to find out more about the firm that created the advertisement.
Watching this video, you understand what the media are trying to do. I personally think that media always blow things way out of porpotion for example they take a small things and make a big deal about it. You can see all of this in the video. Stories like these shouldn't be given so much attention like it has. I mean media is a good way to share information but the only things that should be on media should things that will influence us or the world. Even tragic stuff as well. Honestly when i watch or read media i think that the media never cares about what they write and they only write what they think will sell and make them famous or get people in trouble. People sometimes only has news to see how people are like and media can sometimes mislead people into bad people which are actually decent human beings. Anyways dont always believe media but sometimes we dont have a choice but to listen to them.

It has so much power that can turn one small problem to the big one and spread it through out the whole world. They can make other people care, expand one thing, create new problems and talk, talk and talk about it. Media just earns money, so their aim usually is to create a boom because of the one thing, which happened in someone’s life. Due to it we have the opportunity to know what it going on in the world, all news spread throughout the world, although they can make something and exaggerate in order to make the particular new more interesting and exciting. The main thing is that media has so many resources such as the Internet, newspapers, magazines, advertisements and TV. They can do and talk whatever they want; it’s one of the most powerful businesses nowadays.
From this video we can see how media can attract people’s attention to different events and make the story to turn in a veery unexpected way. If people and media companies are watching, what is happening, the police have to do everything they can, to finish the debates in the Net. Because if they don’t, then people can divide to those who feel sympathy to different sides and that can cause riots. Different mass media can focus people’s attention on extremely different aspects of the problem, so only people, who use various types of media, can see the whole true story.
When I've watched this video I found it a bit strange, due to the example on which the video was basing. However, the main point of this video is that mass media is very powerful tool. In this case, it was an advertaisement of guardian news company. What all of us realizes is that mass media can controls everything. They provides all the world with information. Doesn't matter right or wrong. People will always believe them. Our modern society has developed such a way, that people after receiving any news and starting discussing them with each other by using different social websites or chats. Each of these people is trying to prove their opinion and show what he/she thinks about this problem. All in all, I think that mass media is very strong feature and it develops with the world. As the world(technologies) developing, mass media is becoming stronger and stronger.
I think this is very powerful advertisement and it shows us how we can use media as it is one of the most popular source of information. People of different ages watch millions and billions of videos each day, however how often they read advertisements while surfing the net? Even if there are some of them, I don’t think their number is bigger that those who watch videos. Moreover, it’s more interesting. They also did a great job, cause as we know from our personal experience we prefer watch funny, exiting cartoons or movies instead of reading some boring messages which appear on the different side of our screens so often. So I think they brought a big impact to the whole world, showing that we can use media in many different ways. I think that this video is very useful, because of its concept and the way it is presented. I truly believe that with on paper you can’t make it look so amazing.
This video is a very interesting commercial mainly because it's shocking. Probably, everyone of us remembers the story about three little pigs and big bad wolf. When I hear this story again it brings me back to childhood. My first thought after watching this video was "What have they done to my childhood?", but then I realized that this is one of the smartest commercials I've ever seen. The directors of this video have created impossible and shocking events as consequences of well known story. They wanted the audience to ask questions "how?", "why?", "when?" and "what for?" because that's what makes the media successful. The media itself is a developing branch. The video clearly shows that media works with facts, but facts can be interpreted differently by people. People want others to know and share their opinions and that's when the misunderstanding and misinterpretation followed by scandals take place. That's what the media is.
Seb G The story of the pigs is of course just an example, a metaphor. The most important thing here is the point of view and the power of majority. Not exactly power but I’ll explain it later. Every situation can be percept from different points whether it is just a conversation or a brutal murder. We usually percept things as we want to. These pigs boiled the wolf. The first thought that came up in my head was “He deserved it” but then I thought, “He didn’t kill them, he only tried to but.” And here some people can disagree with me. However think about it. If you would try to kill someone but you would fail, would you like to be killed or punished just for that you have tried. You didn’t kill anyone and you should not be killed as well. In this case pigs are guilty. THEY committed the murder not the wolf. So in my opinion this video tells us that media and not only media, can show any situation in the way it is better for the ones who show it or for those who pay money.

The story is a reverse of the well known story “the three little pigs” making wolf the actual victim, and accusing pigs of crime. The story of Three Little Pigs made such a fuss that it became a national issue. As we saw on the video, at first media did not mention the fact that the wolf violated the personal rights of the pigs by bursting into their house. We can consider it as the same as saying that the fact that girl was raped is her own fault. The problem is that media don’t always follow the main rule, which is “show the truth”. Especially nowadays media keeps looking for scandals and sensations that would involve of masses of people. My conclusion is that we can’t always trust media and we have to check our sources more than once before actually believing in what media says.
